Services we offer

Individual Therapy

Individual therapy at Solid Ground Mental Health offers a steady, collaborative space. Sessions are paced thoughtfully and shaped by your goals, your experiences, and your sense of readiness.

We work together to understand patterns, stressors, and the impact of past experiences, while building practical tools to support regulation, clarity, and meaningful change. Care is trauma-responsive, attentive to context, and grounded in respect for your autonomy and lived experience.

Individual therapy may be helpful if you’re navigating anxiety, depression, trauma, life transitions, relationship stress, burnout, or feeling stuck in ways that are hard to untangle alone.

Family Therapy

Family therapy at Solid Ground Mental Health focuses on understanding patterns, relationships, and stressors within the family system. Sessions provide a structured, supportive space to explore what’s happening beneath the surface and how each person’s experiences and roles shape the family dynamic.

Our work is collaborative and trauma-responsive, with attention to safety, context, and communication. Rather than placing blame, family therapy helps identify shared challenges, strengthen connection, and develop practical ways of navigating conflict, change, and stress together.

Family therapy may be helpful when families are facing ongoing conflict, transitions, behavioral concerns, the impact of trauma, or difficulties communicating and understanding one another.

Advanced Trauma Treatment with Extended Sessions

Extended sessions at Solid Ground Mental Health are designed for clients engaged in deeper, trauma-focused work who may benefit from longer appointment times and a more immersive therapeutic process.

These sessions allow for thoughtful pacing, adequate grounding, and integration when working with approaches such as EMDR (Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing) Therapy, Brainspotting Therapy, Internal Family Systems (IFS) Therapy–informed work, and other trauma-responsive interventions. Extended sessions provide the time needed to enter and exit this work safely, with attention to regulation, consent, and individual readiness.

Advanced trauma work is always collaborative and carefully assessed. Extended sessions are offered by mutual agreement and may be appropriate when clients are working with complex trauma, longstanding patterns, or material that benefits from continuity and depth.
